Future

Globalization, digitalization and changes in mobility, but also scarceness of resources and climate change are the challenges of our times and NOVAPAX is ready to meet them. We reduce our emissions and our energy consumption, and we optimize the use of our resources.

Sustainability

The protection of the environment is traditionally in high regards at NOVAPAX. Already in the 1990s, NOVAPAX had implemented an environmental management system according to the European eco-audit regulation (EU regulation 1863/93 from 29.6.1993 on the voluntary participation of commercial companies in a common system for environmental management and auditing). The continuous development in the environmental and energy sectors is ensured by yearly audits according to ISO14001and by an integrated system to improve energy efficiency (SpaEfV).

More energy efficient production methods and the increasing use of renewable energy is part of the strategic goal of NOVAPAX to reduce CO2 emissions (zero CO2 by 2050). NOVAPAX works on procedures to avoid waste and scrap of plastic granulate to save resources. Plastic waste is getting sorted and sold for further utilization as secondary raw material grades.

For decades, NOVAPAX maintains partnerships with companies and universities. This exchange of experience, also in R&D, allows NOVAPAX to continuously improve
