Gründung und Entwicklung
NOVAPAX was founded in 1949 by Johann Steiner.
The Latin name NOVAPAX has its origin in the German expression “Neuer Friede” (New Peace), and later it was changed to NOVAPAX Apparatebau (NOVAPAX Appliances) GmbH.

In 1967, Wolfgang Steiner starts his career in NOVAPAX as a production technologist at the machine factory for the manufacturing of injection moulding machines in Leer-Heisfelde, Germany.
In 1972, Wolfgang Steiner started as operations manager at NOVAPAX Berlin, then became partner and finally general manager.
In 1983, Wolfgang Steiner designed and supervised the construction of the new building which is located in Schätzelberg Strasse 4 in Berlin-Tempelhof.
On August 14, 1985, the new factory was inaugurated, consisting of an administration building and three production halls for mold construction, mold injection and storage.
In the early 1990s, NOVAPAX is one of the first three companies in Berlin to perform an ecological audit. Environmental and Quality Management have been expanded since.
In 1991, a high-rack storage has been constructed with 1300 pallet bays to optimally use factory space.
In 1994, Johann Steiner organizes his succession and retires from the company.
In 1995/1996, the first 3D CAD software system was installed with 4 work stations.
In 1997, the department of project management was created.
In 2000, an additional property is acquired in the Schätzelberg Strasse.
